The Convention of Covenanting Churches

WHO ARE WE?

The Convention of Covenanting Churches (3Cs) is an international, multiracial, multi-denominational Christian fellowship consisting of member churches from across the globe. The organization embraces the visionary aspiration of “meeting the need of the whole man.”  The headquarters of the organization is located at 12702 Cuesta Street, Cerritos, CA 90703.

The primary purpose of The Convention of Covenanting Churches is to foster Christian fellowship and support among member churches, and to assist each church in their individual effort of spreading the Gospel to every living soul. The fellowship aspires to establish and maintain Christian churches, schools, colleges, and universities that will reach and teach the Word of God, while preparing ministers, educators, businessmen, skilled workers and technicians to go forth and be living epistles for the Lord Jesus Christ.

At the very heart of The Convention of Covenanting Churches outreach is character development and the promotion of ministerial effectiveness. The fellowship is forever seeking God’s guidance in developing positive methods of ministry, while relying wholeheartedly on the Holy Spirit’s anointing to propagate those methods. It is 3Cs belief, that “the anointing destroys the yoke!”

Our COVENANT is one of love, support, and sharing.

WHAT ARE WE?

The Convention of Covenanting Churches is not a denomination. It is a worldwide “Christian Fellowship Ministry,” dedicated to unifying the body of Christ, irrespective of age, gender, social status, denomination and ethnicity. The ministry eliminates majoring on the minors and centers on loving the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds and strengths, and each other as ourselves; keeping this commandment ever before us, in all that we do, hear and say is an ever-present goal of the ministry.

The Convention of Covenanting Churches is therefore a ministry of diversity, comprising a bouquet of Christian churches – Methodist, Baptist, Apostolic, Evangelical, Pentecostal, intercity and suburban, and international churches; churches with predominately White, Brown, Yellow, Red and Black memberships – uniting under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to send sweet fragrances of praise to our Father, God Almighty.

Jesus believing and Jesus centered churches are accepted just as they are, and no member church will try and change the belief, direction or plan of another. Some churches are “post-trib” and some are “pre-trib.” Some are more “spiritually” expressive than others, and some are more traditional in their views, but all love the Lord and He is faithful to those who love Him. Fellowship churches walk together in agreement that iron sharpens iron and that we need each other to be completed. So, through the power of the Holy Spirit working in and through us all, total truth shall be manifested as we fellowship in love with patience. Differences, except the Lordship of Jesus Christ and His commandment to us, are left to the Spirit of Truth – “The School Master.” Our duty, we believe, is to love one another as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us.

Our goal and desire as a convention is to bring UNITY
